2003 Subaru Outback 2.5 engine. It's a filter; it works... There might be a little smoother engine at above 2500K but no real improvement in gas mileage I can see.. So don't expect and incredible change other than replacing a dirty filter. But I won't ever have to replace this again.

NOTE: THIS FILTER IS FOR THE IMPREZAs WITH THE CALIFORNIA ENGINES, i didnt know that and i had to cut and modify it to work with my air box because it was a couple inches too long
this filter is great, noticeable throttle response and it even makes the intake a lttle louder so if u gas it you can hear it sucking in air.
